Dreams vs Reality
Are you a Regular Dreamer or Day Dreamer?
I definitely do both and can find myself lost in own little world, LITERALLY. Others might call it lost in space but I’d agree and say yes, lost in a space that I created.
Today I wanted to hit on this as I step out of my fantasy world and into the real world.
Understanding that as we get older, your expectations from others increase; but what do you expect from yourself? What do you know of yourself, like deep and truly?
Dream: Ignoring everyone’s thoughts & opinions
Reality: hearing constant negativity and critics but realizing that it’s not all bad, just based on your perspective of the message.
It’s not as easy, but through enough mental training, you can do it! I tell people every chance I get, don’t look at me for advice on how to do it tho, I grew up with a Wanakee🤣! My heart got a shield over it deeper than the SHIELD holding Marvel’s Database & Archives🤣!!! So I laugh at everything and only intake positive words, energy, & constructive criticism!
Another one; DREAM- fantasizing about becoming successful and rich with a perfectly planned life.
Reality CHECK: Perfect does not exist, but you can aim to improve and progress daily!!
Think about the first day of school, all the feelings you felt and then before you know it, school is over. I think this description I’m going for can be better described as the first day of high school or college and reaching the last day before graduation and looking back at how FAST THE TIME FLEW BY!! After a while, depending on how you planned that “Perfect Life”, keeping that goal always in the back of your mind; before you knew it, you would have accomplished almost every single thing that you aspired in life and some!!
That is where I’m at! Looking back, this is an amazing life and God really crafted me different!! Leading me to the last ones:
Dream: me and all my loving family and boatload of supportive friends would be good off me alone. No one ever has to work again, just sit back and watch me work. I do not have no haters nor jealous snakes around me. We all want to see eachother win & always wanting to be loved by all.
Reality: Give it to God. Handle yourself and do what you can for yourself. These dreams are nice and are a dream for a reason. Something you can aspire to reach but they don’t always come true, at least not when you want it to. Don't expect people to be there for you just because you're always there for them. Not everyone has the same heart as you 🫠. Watch your back & love yourself always. Put yourself first and do not allow others to use your goodness as a weakness!! Keep winning and what works out will work out!!
Bringing it to the last one:
Dream: you think about all the ways to get money, survive, and provide for your family. Your dreams are big and bright!! My life will be different than everyone else who lived before, now, and after me.
Reality: you plan and speak on these dreams and aspirations however you have little results to show for it. You gotta get out of your head and start tapping into reality! With social media and phones being at the tip of our fingers, a lot of things are out of whack😂😂. You must work for it!! Every dream and goal you had, envisioned, and strive for; you must put in blood, sweat, and tears. Everything & Everyone needs proper TLC. Stay true and genuine to yourself & it’ll spread to others! Love yourself first and you’ll have no room to hate others!! Ain’t nothing easy in life, cause if that was the case, we all would probably just eat, sleep, & reproduce🤦🏾♂️. We are not robots but humans with our own minds, feelings, and lives!! Give Grace & only focus on you and your dreams. Be sure not to get lost in someone else’s!
So KEEP DREAMING & DO NOT STOP but remember to TAP BACK INTO REALITY!!! Enjoy the moments! Don’t push yourself too much but you outta be the hardest person on yourself!!
