Who’s in Your Corner?

If you went missing today, how long would you suspect it be before anyone noticed??

A question that I’ve asked time and time again but as I watch S3, E16 (the irony of the 16) of Grey’s Anatomy, it is only scary to see it in real life. Everyone around you claims to check in on you and care for your existence but if it ever got put to the test, you need saving, can you imagine who your hero would be?!

I’ve actually been in predicaments where after being rescued, my hero was not who I thought it would be. Time and time again, it makes you really wonder, how important are you to people?

I often do check-ins on people the moment they come to my head, but as I’ve dialed back, it really has made me question a lot. Who is in your corner?!

I can name a list of people off the top of my head but I’ve learned in more ways than not, naming them people only makes the ones you don’t name fall back. But in my experiences, if you stepped up & put forth EFFORT, your reward would be the gratification. A thank you & the acknowledgement goes a long way better than most people think.

So what do you do, the moment the people you knew of and thought would be in your corner, doesn’t show up?! How does that make you feel?!

In so many words, how do you know or who do you know is in your corner?
